Carolina BBQ Sauce by Chef Alexander Court
- 1 cup Prepared Yellow Mustard
- 2/3 cup Honey
- 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 3 tsp Worchestershire
- 3 tsp Red Pepper Hot Sauce (such as Franks)
This mustard based BBQ sauce is both easy and extremely versatile. Use it on pulled pork, ham or barbequed chicken as traditional BBQ sauce, or add a splash of it while sautéeing greens to give them a kick. Try adding mayo or yogurt to it to make a flavour bursting slaw or salad dressing.
Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer on medium low for 20 minutes.
